On the first day

Today is December 27, 2023. There are four days left until 2024. It is my third month back in China, and my third month at work.

Work has introduced me to many new projects and ideas. I had already developed a habit of writing short reflections, and the urge to start a blog kept growing. I spent a few hours looking into blogging frameworks. I had originally planned to build one with Django, but Hexo came up again and again—and it really was convenient. Modern frameworks are remarkably capable. Back in university, I had wanted to write a blog too, but the prospect of building a service from scratch made me give up. :/

Anyway, today marks the official start of my life as a blogger. I hope I can keep this habit for the rest of my life.
