I used to have a bit of a code purity complex: if I saw a Claude bot among the contributors to a GitHub project, I would immediately assume the project was unreliable. I would think it had been built by a developer who was new to vibe coding and did not really understand software engineering or design patterns. For some reason, that gave me a vague sense of superiority.

Obviously, that bias was narrow-minded. And I am not exactly a brilliant programmer myself. So when I encountered AI that was both incredibly fast and genuinely effective, I quickly embraced it.
