A few thoughts on agents:

• Useful, but overhyped. An agent’s core strength is completing a defined task more accurately, not doing purely creative work. If you cannot think of something, it is hard for an agent to independently fan out and think of it either. Finding the creative work is still the user’s role.
• What we need are killer applications, not chat-based interaction patterns. Chat interfaces only help people without ideas remain without ideas.

A few strong takes:

• Users do not need a chat box; they need choices—the difference between an open world and linear storytelling.
• The current enthusiasm for OpenClaw and skills is helping dismantle stable jobs in the future. Once workflows are standardized and persistent, companies simply will not need as many people. More troublingly, capital markets are giving those companies real valuation rewards.
• Wage workers and self-media creators are becoming their own gravediggers. That has never happened before.
